Pattern of Final Examination Paper of Contributor Personality
Development (CPD) Course
PART 1: What the final examination tests for
1. The final examination covers only Units 1-12 of the CPD Course.
2. The examination is application oriented. It tests for
application of the 12 Units of the course.
These are defined as the key concepts for every Unit (given in the
Text Books).
3. Thus a thorough appreciation of the key concepts of the CPD
course and application of the concepts in their lives will enable students to
do well in the examination. (Solving application examples from text book /
is recommended)
PART 2: Pattern of the question paper
4. The examination paper will have ~30 questions across 4
sections.
Section A will have 1 scenario. Each scenario will have 4
related questions having 2 or 3 options. Based on the option chosen, the
student will 2 score 3,2, or 1 mark.
Section B will have 10 questions with 2 given statements from
which the student
has to choose the statement closest to his/her thinking. If
correct option is chosen, the student will get 2 marks; if not, then zero.
Section C will have 5 questions with each question having 4
statements. Student
firstly has to rank these 4 statements in order of his/her
preference & secondly, choose 1 out of the given 4 ranking options. If
correct option is chosen, the student will get 2 marks; if not, then zero.
Section D will have 10 questions. For each question, the
student has to choose 1
option out of 3 valid responses. Based on the option chosen,
the student will score either 3 or 2 or 1 mark.
All questions are compulsory.
Pattern of questions -
All questions are in multiple choice format (MCQ).
The questions are in the form of scenarios / situations
giving options.
The student is expected to choose one option out of the
given options.
Section A = 20 Section B = 20
Section C = 10 Section D = 20 marks
BE Students passing marks is 23 out of 70.
